Our client is a Japanese Chemical Manufacturer. They are seeking a Logistics Officer as part of their expansion plan.
- Reports to the Logistics Section Manager/Manager
- 【What you will be working on】- Coordinates the daily logistics/warehouse activities according to the shipment schedule:
1. Plan and assign staff for the daily activity in the warehouse.
- 2. Provide information to warehouse staff for daily shipment requirements.
- 3. Arrange and coordinate transportation for local and overseas shipments.
- 4. Coordinate with internal and external parties for all deliveries and shipments.- Ensure that all goods to be delivered are arranged in a timely and appropriate manner by checking the lead time of each order from customers, first-in-first out compliance, expiry date of the goods, and other necessary information.
- Coordinate collection of empty drums for recycling from customers.
- Process orders by entering them into the DSC system.
- Issues proper shipping documents (DO, Packing List, Invoice, COA, shipping mark, permit) for each shipment.
- Arrange Marine Insurance for export cargo and import of empty drums from customers.
- Assist in conducting visual inspection for incoming and outgoing finished goods for the warehouse. Reports to the superiors on any defects or abnormalities found.
- Assist to prepare goods for shipment by:
1. Scanning the serial number of the drums.
- 2. Pasting of shipping mark as required by the customer.
- 3. Assist the Logistics Section Manager in inventory control and management.
- 4. Ensure that all goods are received at the warehouse with proper documentation.- Keep a record and maintain the balance of goods
- Ensure accuracy of month-end, midyear and year-end stock from third party and warehouse.
- Submit monthly reports to the Logistics Section Manager for empty drums and cargo insurance.
- Conducts investigation and generates corrective action reports as and when necessary.
- To upkeep and maintain documentation on QMS and EHSMS records.
- To conduct training as and when necessary for warehouse staff.
- Strictly adhere to EHS and QMS procedures in all aspects of the activities.
- Performs any other task as instructed by the Logistics Manager/Logistics Section Manager.

- Good attitude to work as a team
- Experience using MS Office, especially Excel
