AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Primary Engineering point of contact with Test & Activation (T&A) team during

Test and Trials period.
- Responsible for distribution of Test and Trials Schedule to appropriate

Engineering departments and assignment of COG Engineers to each Test Event
- Ensure COG Engineers are prepared to support the Testing Schedule of Events

as directed by the Test & Activation Lead.
- Responsible for maintaining engineering T&A punch lists including Survey Liens,

Trial Cards, etc. as it relates to system testing and activation
- Responsible for establishing standards and performance expectations for COG

Engineers
- Responsible for developing Lessons Learned and communicating back to the

Engineering Leadership

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:

- Successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or minimum 15

years of equivalent marine experience.
- Minimum 8 plus years of marine design and/or construction experience
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory position
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of scheduling and an ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Experienced in interacting with Production, multiple design teams from several

companies, customer representatives and equipment manufacturers
- Computer literate and familiar with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office products
- Demonstrated detail knowledge of one or more of the following:

- Understanding of ship and propulsion systems
- Understanding of engine alignment and shaft design and alignment
- Understanding of HVAC systems
- Understanding of power distribution and lighting systems
- Understanding of automation, control and communication systems
- Experience in design and construction of vessels is advantageous but

not a requirement
