Finance Executive - Accounting

Job Purpose
- To be responsible for the financial accounting of companies under the Motors Singapore Group
- Co-ordinate with shared services centre relating to accounting operations including day-to-day finance operations so as to keep proper accounting records and meet reporting requirements on time.

Job Content
- Financial accounting
- Prepare monthly closing journal
- Prepare / Review monthly accounts reconciliations and schedules
- Control chart of a/c, review consistency, control a/c creation and archive
- Assist FM in annual insurance policy renewal review
- Audit review support (External and GCAD review)
- Ensure compliance to accounting standards
- Annual Statutory Accounts, XBRL
- Assist with monthly consolidation (where applicable)
- Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivables
- Assist in review of sales ledger and purchase ledger reconciliation
- Review monthly inter-co billing and ensure consistent accounting treatment
- Assist in review of debtors aging reports and vendors statement reconciliation
- Prepare commissions for payroll submission
- Prepare payroll journals
- GST and tax
- Assist in the review of GST submission workings and GST reconciliation test
- Assist to prepare tax & deferred tax computation for accounting provision
- Assist to prepare corporate tax computations for review by HO and tax consultants
- Fixed Assets and Capex
- Prepare capex and maintain capex records for new / replacement of fixed assets
- Maintain asset register
- Prepare costing for demo registration
- Cashflow and banking matters
- Monitor daily cashflow requirements and updating daily reports
- Liaison with financial institutions for all banking relating activities. i.e., opening & closing of bank accounts, updating of bank signatories etc. (where applicable)
- Assist with funding matters including preparing of bank letters for drawdown, repayments, rollover
- Attending to banks queries
- Provide advice, guidelines and instructions to shared services centre and operations on day-to-day accounting matters
- Value add to the business and work with other departments to streamline and standardise process

Job Requirement
- Qualifications - Diploma holder in Accounting & Finance with 3-4 years of working experience or Degree holder in Accounting & Finance with 1-2 years of working experience
- Good Excel skills
- Able to work in fast-paced environment
