Senior Category Manager

As a Senior Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing category assortment and supplier management strategies and to manage strategic procurement initiatives with all stakeholders. Additionally, you will specialize in sourcing and category assortment (technical stores) for daily operations and are able to lead and effectively execute group tenders. **Become a part of our Procurement Team in Singapore**: Join our dynamic regional procurement team where you will report to the Regional Procurement Director, Asia. In this role, you will seamlessly become part of our thriving regional procurement team. The position is based in Singapore. During the initial months, you will benefit from a comprehensive onboarding process designed to ensure a smooth transition into your new role. Your key responsibilities will include optimizing of the regional purchase spend in cooperation with the global procurement team, initiating sourcing projects, developing and maintaining procurement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the respective area, and analyzing and categorizing purchase patterns. Your primary focus will be on Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Vendor base and S/C-Management optimization. **More specifically, your key responsibilities will be to**: - Execute the procurement strategy and translate into savings targets - Execute all procurement deliverables to ensure maximum profit is obtained - Professionalize and right size the supplier portfolio and run a professional relationship management program to ensure a best-in-class performance in the industry - Run sourcing projects, include search, develop and maintain relationships with existing vendors and possible new vendors, negotiations & contracting - Negotiate sustainable contracts with focus on price, quality, availability and logistics and develop vendor relationships to maximize cooperation - Build, maintain and execute a strong pipeline of optimization opportunities including negotiation, resourcing & supply - Ensure best practices are shared and deployed between regional networks of offices and the global procurement team - Contract the maximum spend possible and ensure compliance to the same - KPI tracking & reporting - Collaborate with Regional & Global procurement teams to drive effectiveness through the organization and utilize economy of scale **Personality matters**: You embody our core values of a: - Winning Attitude - Customer Orientation and - Getting it Done. As an individual, you are trustworthy, resilient and possess a high level of business acumen to generate tangible value for the customers and Wrist. **Qualifications & requirements**: Ideally, you hold a bachelor's degree or higher in business along with at least 10 years of procurement and strategic sourcing in technical stores. We are seeking an expert in Category Management who possesses a solid understanding of and practical experience with vendor consolidation, cost-saving initiatives, and stakeholder management. Inventory management experience is a plus.
