Senior Executive, Category Management

Sephora Singapore is looking to hire a Senior Category Executive to support the Category Manager in executing the category management plans.

Today, Sephora SEA retail has close to 1300 employees across the 4 direct markets (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia) including the Regional HQ in Singapore and the local HQs in all 4 countries.

**Scope**

Assist the Category Managers to manage a brand portfolio of different axis (make up, skincare, fragrance and hair) in areas including assortment, forecasting, space planning and brand activations. You will be required to work and build relationship with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Business Reviews and Joint-Business Planning**
- Track sales, samples, brand conversion, stock (vs KPIs and Targets)
- Assist Category Managers in execution of the annual brand plan to achieve category goals
- Work closely with brands and internal stakeholders to identify gaps and opportunities to improve sales performance
- Preparation for market week
- **
Brand/Product Launches**
- Guide and on-board new brands
- Manage new sell-in process: data validation & submission
- Liaise & co-operate with all departments to ensure strong launch plans & execution omni-channel
- Complete launch information and calendar shared with internal stakeholders
- Tracking of launch performance
- On-boarding and management of new brands
- Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure deliveries meet launch dates and campaigns

Brand activities and animations**
- Support Category Managers in planning and execution of brand activities for omni-channel
- Priority Push animation : product assortment, target and stocks ordering
- Tracking of activities / animation performance and analysis
- **Assortment and Stock Management**
- Work with Category Managers to develop a relevant and productive assortment for each brand vs productivity benchmarks. Ensure planograms are updated and maintained in the system.
- Review assortment gaps and opportunities for omni-channel based off sales ambition, category strategies, trends and competition
- Regular review of Stock on Hand and propose actions to maintain healthy stock levels

Floorplan management**
- Work with space planner and visual merchandising team to drive category goals through proper management of brand assortment
- Work with brands on opening plans, fixtures, stocks and merchandising for new store opening and store renovation

Degree or Professional qualification in Business / Marketing or related studies
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in similar capacity in FMCG or retail industry highly preferred
