**A. JOB SCOPE/ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

The Manager, Resource Acquisition is responsible for raising funds for SPD’s cause and meet fundraising targets to serve people with disabilities through SPD’s programmes and services. Work closely with other members of SPD’s Community Partnerships Division and Direct Service Programme Heads in planning and implementing fundraising activities and developing proposals for donors that align with SPD’s mission and goals.
- Actively drive new engagement with untapped sectors and high net worth individuals to build a pipeline of new prospective donors to raise funds for programmes and services in aid of people with disabilities;
- Acquire new donors and maintain and grow relationships with them, promptly following up, reporting and opening channels of support, and constantly looking out for new opportunities;
- Craft compelling proposals and present existing platforms in an engaging way to interest potential donors;
- Develop, review and execute engagement plan to generate collaborative opportunities with accounts;
- Analyse donation landscape, giving trends and donors’ needs and expectations, gathering data on prospective donors to develop targeted approaches to cultivate and reach out to new donors;
- Provide support for collaborative fundraising with corporate partners including giving advice on fundraising and attending events independently;
- Any other duties/tasks as assigned by the HOD;

**B. JOB HOLDER’S REQUIREMENT**

1. Bachelors’ degree in marketing/or related discipline

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising/sales and marketing

3. Self-driven and outgoing with excellent ability to engage at all levels and network with Chinese
- and English-speaking communities

4. High emotional intelligence with good written and verbal communication skills and ability to influence

5. Adaptable and creative with good presentation skills

6. Determined and resilient

7. Highly social team player who enjoys working with and collaborating across functional groups and passionate about engaging people for the disability cause

8. Professional, with impeccable integrity
