The Engineering Manager will be a strategic key initiator, driving Process automation Scope/transformation within the project in line with global engineering standards by thinking short-medium-long term and holistically, building harmonized strategy and implementation roadmap cross-functionally that ensures results and progress towards organisational goals. Will partner with global engineering and automation functions who owns the different initiatives, to jointly achieve organizational goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Project Leadership & Management: Lead and manage engineering technology projects and programs, specializing in automation for the pharmaceutical industry.
- Program and Project Management
- Guide Project managers and program managers on the engineering standards, delivery plan, engineering resources
- Drive Operational Technology solutions for brownfield / greenfield facility from Concept Design to Delivery.
- Lead and manage engineering teams, fostering collaboration and developing team members. Conduct performance reviews and manage resources effectively.
- Experienced in design, detail engineering, testing, configuration, commissioning, and documentation of automation systems in Pharmaceutical industry.
- Building and maintaining a cross-functional organization supporting digitalization and automation streams
- Implement the identified digitalization and automation strategy for the project, and execution roadmap in alignment with Client and global team.
- Liaising with Team managers, Technical managers and Project managers for effective delivery of projects.
- Solution Architect for large pharmaceutical projects..
- Coordinate Technical delivery of OT infrastructure and hardware systems as required by project teams.
- Work with various teams to design system architecture, Philosophy and standards for Design Specifications, Control Strategies, and library elements.
- Maintain overview of figures / budgets / projects and discuss results with Program manager and Global team to drive prioritization of activities.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the Life science automation as Project manager/ program manager or Solution architecture role.
- Expertise in Emerson DeltaV Batch is must.
- Must have PMP Certification.
- Expert in Various Automation technologies at L2/L3 Level (PCS, MES, Historians, various PLC’s, Fire and Gas, BMS, access control and IT-OT integration)
- Proven experience of managing Automation team for CAPEX/ OPEX project delivery
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution of automation and digitalization projects/programs.
- Change management and stakeholder management across all levels of organization.
- Significant financial and business acumens
- Positive leadership, demonstrated through team collaboration and stakeholder management.
