**The Role**:
The principle objective of the role is to lead or participate in the design and implementation of complex Hybrid IT solutions including Public and Private Cloud Computing and Managed Services Solutions that achieve the client’s business needs and goals. The Sr IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible to provide consultative technical expertise from the sales to implementation cycle which includes the preparation and presentation of detailed designs and configuration blueprints for complex managed solutions.

**The Main Responsibilities**:

- Determine client requirements and provide designs for complex Hybrid IT solutions including Managed Hosting Infrastructure, Cloud, Virtualization and Managed Services Solutions.
- Perform consultative, solutions-based design for business clients who desire outsourced infrastructure options to enhance their own technical capabilities.
- Creation of detailed design and configuration blueprints for complex managed solutions including validation and standardization of the conceptualized solution to ensure operability, delivery, and revenue acceleration.
- Analyze and determine strategies for system implementations and migrations.
- Responsible for coordinating and leading technology configuration workshops for customer design and configuration sign off complex solutions.
- Perform detailed configuration workshops to qualify and engineer complex managed solution to ensure the underpinning technology concepts are relevant for solution execution.
- Provide post-sale support to installation personnel as needed to clarify service expectations; including providing diagrams, verbal explanation, and written documentation.
- Work on Post Sales Engineer activity by adhering to the design process during pre
- and post-sales design activities for complex managed solutions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain best-practice standards, policies, procedures, and associated training plans to ensure optimal daily operations are maintained.
- Responsible for maintaining collaborative relationships with key engineering, sales, and operational organizations.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology and Services.
- Minimum of 6 years of solution design and implementation related experience on IT Infrastructure.
- Comprehensive and working knowledge of Network and Hosting data center architecture (WAN Technologies, Hosted Area Network Technologies, Load Balancing Technologies, Security Technologies, Compute and OS architectures, and Database (MS SQL, MYSQL, Oracle) architecture.
- Knowledgeable on the latest Cloud Platform, and Technologies like PaaS and SaaS.
- Knowledge on the 0365 Services (SharePoint online, exchange online and Teams.etc)
- Understanding key components of IT implementation architecture and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project and Visio.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, presentation and communication skills.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Experienced and qualified in ITIL / ITSM (IT Service Management) preferred.
- Must be available to travel for internal and external meetings / presentations.
- BS level technical degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Engineering background preferred
