Senior Developer

**Responsibilities**
The Senior Developer is a critical part of CrescoData's tech delivery team. They are responsible for
enhancing and supporting the Cresco Data platform. As part of the tech team, you will work on a
range of components of the platform using the latest cloud technologies and will work closely with the
Customer Success team to understand customer requirements.

The Senior Developer will also be in charge of developing new features and keeping the platform up
to date.

The Senior Developer takes an active role in mentoring the development team members to ensure
employment of development best practices, and individual performance to achieve the required
quality level for our products. In addition, where necessary the Senior Developer will work closely
with the Head of Delivery & Operations, Head of Product and Head of Customer Success to ensure
the Delivery team is in line with the Company’s business plans and objectives.
- Oversee the Integration of a range of e-commerce and marketplace APIs
- Support and enhance the CrescoData platform
- Build scalable solutions - product / platform - working in collaboration with the Head of
- Product and Head of Delivery- Help prioritise frontend and backend development tasks based on their difficulties and
- distribute them to internal or external resources.- Work with Cresco Data’s customers on understanding their objectives & identifying and
- implementing a technical solution- Own Development Operational KPIs - development processes and platform costs to ensure
- we are providing scalable solutions to customers.- Provide support to development projects throughout the project life cycle by effective

management and accountability of the development team’s delivery targets, working with the
Operations team to ensure key target dates are met

- Assist the customer success team with the investigation of support issues and be the

development escalation point where appropriate
- Provide necessary support to the Sales function, providing expert technical POV in presales

activities
- Provide training to new developers on the Cresco Data solution set, getting them equipped to

be functional in their specific area - Integrations / Branded solutions / Front-End &
Backend-End.
- Delegate and review the work of junior / senior developers, and provide sound technical

expertise & advice on how their work could be improved/ optimised. Review completed tasks
to ensure adherence to Cresco standards
- Work closely with the MD/Head of Product to resolve issues and define the long term

requirements of the team, based on the product roadmap
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks given by the MD.
- Be able to work with different departments spread across multiple regions and time zones

including India/Australia/New Zealand as required

**Skills and Qualifications**
- We'd like you to have the following skills:
- Strong Experience with Python.
- Strong Experience with AWS Services - mainly Dynamodb & Lambda
- Experience with serverless architectures
- Experience with eCommerce.
- Experience with Rest API integrations.
- Experience in managing and reviewing work of junior developers
- In addition, the following skills would be useful:
- Experience developing front ends using Javascript/Angular 2+
- Multilingual language skills as CrescoData support customers across the globe- Bright, fast-learning and keen on working with new technologies
- Dynamic and self-driven and able to work in a startup environment to take on responsibilities
- and proactively look for areas of improvement- Not afraid of questioning status quo & bringing a fresh perspective
- Demonstrate lead from front and sleeves up attitude
