- Zoom platform is growing rapidly to many innovative collaboration use cases. Hardware is an important integral part of the Zoom experience. The Hardware Certification Manager will join the Hardware Partnership Team responsible to define new hardware certification categories and specification updates.
- We are looking for an energetic, detailed, and experienced hardware certification manager or engineer with expertise in unified communication or internet media streaming devices testing. This individual will work with internal cross functional teams, leading hardware companies and certification laboratories to define hardware certification specifications.
- Responsibility- Build consistent certification specifications across multiple hardware categories-
- Collaborating with internal product management, engineering, solution architect, professional service, and marketing teams-
- Translate features of Zoom new products to the hardware testing tools and certification specification-
- Effectively manage feedback collection, proof of concept, and releases of new hardware certifications-
- Manage third party certification labs, execute certification objectively, accurately, and consistently-
- Manage life cycle of certification spec, maintain consistency across multiple categories- Requirements- 8+ years of product engineering, interoperability, testing role of camera, unified communication, or IoT industries.-
- Position based in Singapore-
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills; ability to manage ambiguity, solve complex technical problems and define test tools and certification specification.-
- Technical background is required, Engineering or Computer degree a plus-
- Must be detail oriented, organized, ethical, responsible, and self-motivated-
- Understanding of SaaS a plus-
