Finance Intern

Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting financial analysis and research to support decision-making processes. Analyze financial data, trends, and performance indicators to provide valuable insights to the finance team.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team in preparing budgets and financial forecasts. Help monitor budgetary performance and identify areas for cost optimization.

3. Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately enter financial data into various systems and maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.

4. Financial Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for management and stakeholders.

5. Assistance in Month-end and Year-end Closing: Support the finance team in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

6. Vendor and Client Relations: Assist in managing vendor relationships and client billing processes. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in billing and payment procedures.

7. Ad hoc Financial Projects: Participate in special financial projects as assigned, providing assistance in research, data analysis, and other tasks.

8. Compliance and Regulations: Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and ensure adherence to internal financial policies.

9. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance department and propose innovative solutions.

**Requirements**:

- Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree/Diploma program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with a genuine interest in finance and accounting principles.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- Prior experience or coursework in finance, accounting, or relevant fields is a plus.

Duration and Working Conditions:
This internship is expected to last 4-6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.
