The Opportunity

The prime responsibility of this role is to support our finance team and Chief Financial Officer in driving both strategic and operational finance initiatives. You will gain exposure to core finance operations, support in financial planning and analysis, continue to process improvements, and assist with projects that enable the company's growth on an international scale. This role provides hands-on experience, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact within a fast-growing global business.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as Finance Intern will include:

  • Timely vetting and coding of invoices, obtaining relevant approvals in accordance with internal monthly deadlines

  • Timely monthly expense claims reporting in accordance with deadlines

  • Quarterly (and other Ad-hoc) accounting and finance reconciliation activities

  • Ensuring vendors and suppliers invoice status queries are attended promptly and working closely with the payment teams to ensure timely payments

  • Learn to use internal platforms such as Xero, Digital Gateway to name a few, to perform relevant finance operations tasks

  • Assist in finance-related projects as assigned by the finance team

  • Contribute ideas on improving transparency, efficiency, and reporting quality

  • Help streamline financial processes through Excel, Power Query, or other tools, as applicable and needed by the team

  • Any other related ad-hoc assignments/tasks as assigned

Requirements: What makes you stand out

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in any related scope of fields such as finance, accounting, economics or related field

  • Proficiency in Excel
