**Responsibilities**:
The Primary Investment Analyst will be responsible for supporting activities involving sourcing, analyzing, investigating, and monitoring investment opportunities. The Analyst will work closely with our US Primary Investments Team, and the role offers a diversified exposure to private equity and venture capital investing with a high-level of responsibility.

Individual responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in assessing primary investment opportunities
- Participating on deal teams
- Performing quantitative analysis including portfolio valuation, comparable company analysis, value driver analysis and performance attribution analysis
- Performing industry / sector analysis
- Participating in meetings/calls and preparing meeting notes
- Assisting in preparation of investment memorandum
- Assisting in legal negotiation and documentation
- Assisting in projects for the partnership team
- Managing client support activities in a timely manner, including but not limited to, coordinating due diligence information gathering for new and existing clients, preparing RFPs and other client questionnaires, and responding to other ad hoc client requests as they arise
- Preparation of client quarterly updates and quarterly tracking of Adams Street Asia performances, drawdown, distributions
- Conducting market research
- Developing and maintaining proprietary deal and market intelligence
- Performing deal monitoring analysis
- Participating in identification of deal sourcing targets
- Performing other ad hoc projects

Qualifications:
We seek an individual who is self-disciplined, demonstrates creative thinking and has the following characteristics:

- Excellent academic credentials (undergraduate school and GPA)
- History of relevant work experience, schoolwork, and/or extracurricular activity in the private equity, investment banking, investment management, valuations, or M&A
- Strong excel proficiency required, with prior financial modeling experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Excellent technical foundations in corporate finance and accounting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication (written and oral) skills
- Willingness to be based in Singapore
- Professional presence combined with relationship and communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external parties
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently within a team context
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Written and spoken fluency in Korean or Japanese
