**Job Details**:
As leading maritime safety and environmental experts, RightShip has an ambitious vision to expand its influence in safety, sustainability and crew welfare using the best new innovation, digitalization and data-focused solutions.
The ESG Analyst reports to the ESG Manager and is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to achieve RightShip's vision to improve the environmental sustainability and ESG position of the maritime industry.
**Major Responsibilities**
STRATEGY
- Actively support development of RightShip’s ESG proposition for the maritime sector
- Data collection and analysis to promote understanding of events impacting ESG considerations in maritime
- Research into latest sustainability/ESG trends, frameworks and standards to support understanding of emerging focus areas in maritime sustainability
- Drafting brief reports for internal consumption driven by latest market developments and more strategic trends in maritime and broader ESG space
- Ongoing product development in line with evolving industry regulations
STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
- Collaborate effectively with multiple internal teams and external vendors
- Support in promoting developments in maritime ESG at targeted industry events
- Work closely with the customer engagement and operations teams, globally
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Support the growth strategy for ESG by building relationships with customers and new business positioning efforts
- Promote RightShip’s ESG offering to industry, customers and relevant organisations
- Analyse and target relevant customer sectors
**Qualifications, Skills & Experience**
- 3-6 years of environment-related experience
- Familiarity and knowledge of global sustainability/ESG frameworks, methodologies and regulatory developments
- Knowledge of relevant environmental regulations, in particular related to the maritime environment
- Excellent analytical and data management skills including use of Excel and Tableau
- Good writing skills with ability to synthesize data and ideas into impactful presentations
- Strong organisation and planning skills/ project management skills, ability to multitask
- Comfortable managing expectations of internal and external stakeholders
