**What the role is**
- Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG)
We build socially responsible individuals and strong and stable families by creating a safe and nurturing environment for children, young persons and families. We protect and rehabilitate the abused and youth offenders.
Probation and Community Rehabilitation Service (PCRS)
We are responsible for the effective rehabilitation of offenders on community-based orders with maximum participation of their families and the community. We are passionate and committed to making a difference to the lives of these youths and their families and are looking for like-minded individuals to join our dynamic and life-changing team.

**What you will be working on**
- Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will support in:
a. the review, development, implementation and management of the competency frameworks developed for staff and sector partners; and
b. the consolidation and strengthening of culture building efforts across PCRS to build the desired organisation culture.
Both areas of work aim to build a workforce that is aligned and competent in achieving PCRS’ strategic goals and desired outcomes for its clients.
Your main responsibilities include:
1. Developing the competency of staff and sector partners through the competency frameworks identified for staff and sector partners.
2. Implementing Practice Framework that undergirds the work of PCRS, provides clarity and ensures accountability in practice.
3. Overseeing the efforts in building and strengthening the desired culture of PCRS.

**What we are looking for**
- a. Tertiary Qualification
b. At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience
c. Knowledge or experience in developing Learning & Development initiatives and/or projects
d. Project management knowledge and experience
e. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and convincingly (both oral and written)
f. Ability to identify the different levels of the system in the organisation, their interconnections and interdependencies
g. Prior case management experience and knowledge of offender management would be advantageous
h. Professional certifications or courses in HR or organisational development/psychology would be advantageous, but not necessary
