Lab Associate

**Job Summary**:
In this challenging but rewarding career opportunity, you will work with system engineers, bench scientists, biologists, and other team members to perform QC test and consumable manufacturing for our high-throughput bioimaging platform.

You should have a flexible and learning mindset, be able to work in a fluid and dynamic environment, be comfortable working with globally distributed development and operation teams and have a strong desire to pursue creative solutions to challenging problems. This requires you to:

- Manage sample receipt, registration and storage
- Perform sample inspections and tests according to established specifications and approved procedures. QC reagent/consumable made by production.
- Revise and update procedures to improve compliance, efficiency and execution
- Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance and calibration as needed.
- Complete batch records and other administrative duties as requested. Ensure that the documentations are compliant with Quality System and EHS requirements.
- Evaluate the test results accurately in accordance with procedures
- Work with Operations and R&D team to troubleshoot issues. Identify and implement activities to improve Turn-around-time (TAT) and operational excellence
- Perform lab management activities including inventory management and cleaning duties.
- Perform engineering studies to determine the QC specification for raw materials, intermediates and finish goods.

**Education and Experience**:

- We welcome applicants with Chemistry, Engineering or Life Sciences related diploma or degrees.
- 2 years of relevant working experience in production or medical/lab environment is a plus.

Key Competencies:

- Experience in QC or lab management.
- Individual with CQE or Six-Sigma certification is a plus.
- Experienced with performing biochemical assays, cell culture and running analytical tools.
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to multitask and cope with changes
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and meet established turn-around times
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This position is located in Singapore and reports directly to the Operations Director.
