**Job Description
**Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing of every line of the manuscript for the purpose of detecting typos, misused grammatical mistakes, misused words and punctuation errors.
- Making sure that the content of the book is concise, correct, easy and accurate thereby making it easy to read and comprehend.
- Working individually with Trainer in order to detect and address the issues, which can be anything from inconsistent pacing, improper structuring, contrivances etc.
- Working as independent contractors in order to help Trainer polish the standard of the manuscript before its submission.
- Verify facts cited in material for publication
- Maintain good working relationships with authors and other key staff such as production, editorial assistants, proofreaders, graphics artists, and marketing personnel
- Keep track of scheduled dates to ensure manuscript publishes on time
- Attend meetings to review book schedules and discuss any issues
- Work with marketing to promote the book by submitting content for both print and online announcements

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Innovative and creative bent of mind.
- Attention to details.
- Ability to work under stress and within deadlines.
- Excellent sense of grammar and style.
- Basic computer skills.
- Awareness about the different intricacies of publication.
- Minimum 1 year experience in writing, reporting and editing.
