Location: Central

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team of APOC Based Revenue Recognition SMEs who evaluate customer agreements and document the proper revenue accounting under ASC 606.
- Ensure contract review and accounting processes follow the company’s documented policies.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders (legal, revenue operations, sales, finance & strategy, etc.) to collaborate on non-routine transactions, new product offerings and process improvements.
- Serve as a key stakeholder in the design and implementation of system projects and product launches impacting the revenue accounting team.
- Enhance existing operational processes to provide quality service to our business partners while ensuring efficiency and accuracy and our results.
- Advocates, educates, and promotes best practices and new developments. Inspires others to identify risks to compliance and take steps to mitigate.
- Review non-standard customer agreements to evaluate revenue recognition impacts and propose solutions that align with internal policies and company objectives.
- Provide Audit Support (US GAAP and statutory) related to revenue and customer contracts.

**Requirements**:

- Strong technical revenue accounting knowledge of US GAAP and specifically ASC 606. Professional Accounting Qualification.
- Ability to understand the needs of stakeholders within Microsoft and collaborate effectively across all levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including active listening and the ability to articulate complex issues to a variety of audiences
- Highly adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an emphasis on quality
