The Technology & Innovation sales team is responsible for promoting and selling Infor innovation solutions into existing and net new customer opportunities. The account executive will proactively participate in sales motions to position the value proposition of all Infor technology & innovation solutions including Augmented Intelligence Service (AI/ML) and Velocity Suite (includes Process Mining, RPA, IDP, GenAI, and Value+ automation catalog).
The account executive must have a passion for telling compelling innovation stories to manufacturers, distributors, food & beverage, and retail/fashion accounts through the lens of customer outcomes and the economic benefit of digital transformation.
Responsibilities include executing marketing plans with Infor solutions marketing and business development representatives, managing assigned industry accounts, and uncovering prospects’ business issues and aligning with innovation and automation solutions.
Requires travel up to 50%.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Develop account strategies and tactical penetration plans for each client within the sales territory. Work closely and develop effective relationships with key business stakeholders to understand business pain points and align the appropriate Infor solution to meet their business needs.
- Deliver business stakeholder presentations and proposals that outline transformational business outcomes in business-oriented language.
- Challenge your clients to think differently about their business through compelling innovation strategies based on ROI cost/benefit analysis.
- Build and maintain industry expertise by participating in vertical-specific user groups and by monitoring and reporting on competitor activities and offerings.
- Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Maintain and keep up to date your progress and activities within your territory for each account in internal systems of record (CRM, Teams, etc.). Regularly communicate with sales management an accurate forecast of expected revenue.
What You Will Need:
- Ability to thrive in a start-up, incubated organization.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AI/ML, Generative AI, Enterprise Automation, Enterprise Integration, and Process Intelligence technologies
- In-depth knowledge of businesses and buying processes
- Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail
- A bias for action and sense of urgency
- Ability to establish and manage executive-level, customer relationships
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated success in achieving $1.5M+ annual quota
- Ability to manage multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously
- Possess hunter sales methodology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree minimum
- Strong competitive and industry knowledge
- Minimum 5 years selling technology solutions
