The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for our safety footwear to grow the portfolio profitably, achieving significant market share growth in the Southeast Asia markets. In addition to further expanding our distribution network and further professionalizing our sales network, he is expected to work together with the Sales Director to formulate sales & marketing activities to facilitate rapid expansion.

**The Roles**
- Manage all business development, sales and marketing activities in the Southeast Asia markets, with the aim of increasing sales, expanding markets, and sustaining profitability.
- Develop annual territory sales plans and strategies and drive towards achieving these sales targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Manage, motivate, and train distributors in Asia region.
- To develop new distributors, provide support and manage existing network of distributors.
- Maintain good relationship with customers.
- Drive value added focus.

**The Person**
- At least 3 years of sales experience in industrial power tools or PPE products in an MNC environment.
- Experience in sales of safety footwear will be an added advantage.
- Extensive experience in sales operations covering in particular the ASEAN market.

Specific Requirements
- Successful track record in sales with proven abilities in exceeding individual and group sales targets.
- Track record in managing distributors and sales team.
- Experience in building and expanding the value and focus on developing and managing new and existing distributors.
- Good understanding of the playing field and all the nuances when it comes to working with distributors close to each other
- Understanding the way to manage and grow distributors as well as key end-users.
- Good communication skills in English (written & oral).
- A good level of computer literacy.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Frequent travel in the region is needed.
