Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is a key decarbonisation pathway for Singapore to achieve our international climate targets, particularly for hard-to-abate, emissions-intensive sectors such as energy & chemicals, power, and waste. The CCS Programme Office (CCSPO) is responsible for developing and implementing the first cross-border CCS project in Singapore, and planning for future phases. This will be a complex, multi-domain and multi-year endeavour that supports Singapore's economic competitiveness in a low-carbon future. - As a member of the CCS PO, you will be part of the dynamic and multi-disciplinary team tasked to plan and develop the cross-border CCS project, to support Singapore's overall decarbonization efforts in achieving our net-zero goals.
- Develop and implement the economic regulation framework governing the first cross-border CCS project in Singapore.
- Develop and implement an economic efficient, financially sustainable, fair and equitable cost allocation and recovery framework covering all the stakeholders in the CCS value chain.
- Determine the ownership and financing structures, secure funding and other resources, develop the governance framework for the key stakeholders in the CCS value chain.
