Senior Graphics Designer

**This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Graphic Designer at Culture Collective. This role is based in Singapore with flexibility for remote work.**

**Role**

We are looking for a highly motivated Graphic Designer with extensive environmental graphics experience, working on exhibitions and/or other spatial design mediums with a can-do attitude.

The Graphic Designer will work closely with the creative team — and play a leadership role — in creating memorable visitor experiences, as well as integrating text, images and media of all kinds. The Graphic Designer works as a member of an integrated team that includes content developers, exhibit designers, media designers and developers, marketing specialists, and the client. As a member of the team, your responsibilities include:
**Our Senior Graphics Designer**:

- Participates in conceptual development and illustrate design concepts through a variety of mediums depending on the project scope of work
- Develops graphic standards and hierarchies per project style and content
- Attends internal and client meetings to understand the content and materials available to bring the exhibition graphic elements to life both interpretively and creatively
- Develops designs from conceptual, ideation stage to the final design, construction design and implementations
- Leads a team of designers and work in a team environment including Culture Collective staff, subcontractors, clients, suppliers and industry contacts
- Presents confidently to client teams
- Works within tight schedules, in a fast-paced working environment
- Multi-tasks; able to lead and work on several different projects at a time
- Travels to meetings and site visits as required by projects
- Responsible for maintaining client missions and design objectives throughout the project
- Disseminates work within the graphics team when appropriate; review and approve design deliverables as required
- Provides updates and milestone deliverables to Art Director for review/input
- Coordinates and manage meetings pertaining to graphic and interpretive development
- Conducts design sessions with team to develop and monitor design and direction
- Works with production teams to maintain design integrity within project documents and artwork, and to coordinate and itemise presentation deliverable, format and schedule
- Responsible to project budget and schedule; coordinate with team leaders to monitor/manage design man-hours

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of graphic designers and visual artists managing work flows towards deadlines
- Design and direct visually compelling and engaging graphics / artwork for a variety of design techniques and formats for Exhibition Design
- Be able to handle several projects simultaneously
- Interpret and visualize complex content into schematic information
- Create effective and visual presentations
- Develop creative concepts that are forward-thinking and in-line with current

media trends
- Ensure a high standard of visual execution across all media
- Work with Art and Design Directors to ensure creative concepts, tactics, and design elements are on brand and strategically sound
- Work with producers to ensure creative work product is delivered on deadline and in accordance with clients’ criteria

- 5 + years of graphic design or similar experience in an agency or in-house setting
- A strong knowledge of design, typography, image manipulation, and illustration
- Experience in developing creative concepts across all traditional media platforms and knowledge of how they work, can work, or be reimagined to best serve clients
- The ability to generate original ideas and visual concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design with a minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in environmental graphic design or related field
- Strong technical drawing skills
- Adobe CS Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), MS Office or Google Input tools

Proven experience in multiple phases of the design process including: conceptualization, design development, and design intent drawings. (CA experience is a plus), good knowledge of fabrication techniques and materials standards of exhibit design, excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and illustrative), and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Pay: $3,500.00 - $3,700.00 per month
