Milestone Systems is looking for a Communications Specialist to serve our APAC region, based in Singapore. This person will participate all internal, external Communications in our APAC region (Asia, Australia, India, Japan & Korea),

Roles & Responsibilities
- Drive awareness about Milestone as a company, our products, and our employer brand in APAC national, business, and trade media
- Develop and manage annual APAC editorial plan including KPIs in support of overall PR strategy
- Manage external APAC PR agencies, incl. definition of deliverables and KPIs.
- Regular meetings with PR agencies to share feedback and ideas and to follow progress
- Track and report on PR results
- Collect input and manage relations with key internal stakeholders across APAC
- Advise APAC VP on internal and external communications activities, e. g. analyst relations, executive media panels, speaking engagements
- Develop plan for media training of spokespeople in collaboration with Corporate Communications
- Advise/train APAC employees on their use of social media in accordance with Milestone’s global guidelines
- Collaborate with marketing and other relevant internal stakeholders to support regional events
- Prepare VP for media interviews, speeches, and presentations for live audience
- Act as a point of contact for APAC press inquires
- Actively position Milestone ideas and pitch them to regional APAC media - directly or through PR agencies
- Contribute to development and execution of global PR campaigns in collaboration with Corporate Communications
- Support corporate communication in distribution and re-purposing of global news stories
- Foster relationships with key media contacts and influencers to drive and influence media coverage and exposure

Professional Qualifications:

- 5-7 years working experience with international companies
- Preferably experience from high-the companies with a partner business model
- Demonstrated business and creative writing skills
- Cross-cultural, cross-organizational experience
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Good IT user skills and CMS experience
