**Goal of this Position**:
This role is responsible to buy goods and/or services PTS requires to run its business in the shortest lead-time. To identify suppliers that can act as long-term partners to achieve cost reductions while maintaining or improving the quality of supplies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Understand the Purchasing workflow & process
- Ensure there is a systematic follow up on and Process Purchase Orders in order to contribute to an effective and efficient purchasing process:

- Manage store inventories, including:

- Perform daily scanning, uploading, update and filling of documents
- Prepare & issue documents to Requestors/Vendors
- Collect items from Vendors and Issue items to Requestors
- Register new information, (all) actions and modifications in a correct and systematic manner so that everyone involved in the purchasing process always have the most recent and correct information.
- Perform basic housekeeping within your department & store
- Establish and maintain a sound knowledge base in relation to existing suppliers, as well as exploring potential new suppliers, in order to build up a portfolio of suppliers which will allow us to purchase on the most favorable terms in relation to cost, delivery period, quality, terms of payment, service, etc.
- Manage and maintain consumable and equipment database in Therefore system
- Ensure all necessary documents (COA, MSDS, etc) uploaded and register in the database.
- Always be ready to be hands on to perform the tasks of your juniors in their absence and/or shortage of manpower
- Manage and schedule the calibration for critical equipment

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics / Supply Chain or Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
- Must be willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good negotiation skills
- Ability to plan and set priorities
- Thinking in a service-minded, problem-solving manner
- Good sense of initiative
- Possess basic knowledge of common material specifications and metallic material properties (will be an added advantage)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $2,800.00 - $3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
