Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is instrumental in delivering the Executive Education business of ESSEC Asia-Pacific in Singapore and the region. The job incumbent will work closely with the Business Development Team to ensure impeccable service being delivered to the participants. The Operations Manager reports to the Department Head of Executive Education of ESSEC Asia-Pacific. **This is a one year non-renewable contract.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Acquire a good understanding of clients’ needs and requirements to enhance the operations of residency, open enrolment & customised corporate training programs.
- Work with program directors in the execution of program operations as per clients’ requirements.
- Prioritise, plan, and execute the operations of multiple projects simultaneously and within budget.
- Ensure the smooth delivery of programs with impeccable service to various internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Business Development team to ensure an excellent learning experience and support client retention.
This is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities and can evolve with time or as assigned by the Reporting Line Manager
**Qualifications**:
- Hold a Bachelor degree qualification in business/commerce or equivalent related studies
- Possess at least 4 - 5 years of relevant work experience with servicing corporate clients and/or customer-facing roles ideally within the executive education or training industry
**Position requirements**:
- Self-starter and is adaptable to work both independently and in a small team and able to multi-task and prioritise when the need arises
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good command in spoken and written English language
- Attentive to details with a “hands-on” attitude
- Possess a growth mindset and has the agility to reach positively to changes
- Possess an analytical perspective, able to propose solutions and suggest process improvements to improve quality of service
- Mature disposition and able to hold conversations with different levels of people and in an international environment

- Internal Stakeholders - Head of Executive Education; Program Directors and Managers; Faculty in ESSEC APAC; counterparts in other departments in ESSEC APAC; counterparts in France and Morocco campuses
- External Stakeholders - Vendors and clients; external organisations and institutions locally and overseas, relevant government agencies and authorities and External faculty
**Working environment and pace**:
The Operations Manager needs to be able to work independently in a dynamic work environment. He/She is also expected to work well with different stakeholders and across cultures. Some level of flexibility and agility are required.
**Terms of Employment**:
Working days are from Mondays to Fridays
Working timings: 8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm or 10am to 7pm
Occasionally, it may be necessary to work beyond the normal working hours due to the nature of work and the level of responsibility
