**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Support the Head in managing academic and administrative matters, including
- providing input on curriculum reviews; supporting teaching staff in their course delivery
- coordinating and collating documents such as course curriculum, assessment records, etc.; suggesting relevant resources or purchasing of materials for teaching purposes; monitoring students’ progress, performance and attendance by ensuring timely submissions of attendance and examination reports
- and assisting with conducting class observations and peer observations where necessary
- Lead, manage and support teaching staff to ensure smooth running of assigned department
- Conduct regular briefings and dialogue with teaching staff, including induction of new full-time or part-time teachers and setting the ethos for teaching
- Mentor and provide pastoral care and support, including career guidance to students
- Establish and maintain links with the industry and institutions to foster a total approach of academic pursuit alongside industry practice
- Organize and participate in marketing outreach activities, such as conducting talks, concerts/showcases/recitals, and workshops to market School of Young Talents, or SYT departments
- Undertake 20 contact/teaching hours per week
- Perform administrative duties related to teaching and School or institutional strategic initiatives as assigned by the Head or Principal
**Requirements**:
- Minimum Diploma qualification in a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of teaching and relevant working experience
- Preferable to have RAD Registered Teachers’ Status
- Positive, enthusiastic, and results-oriented with the ability to engage students in their learning
- Good command of written and spoken English
- A team player with good interpersonal skills
