Research Engineer/ Senior Research Engineer

Responsible for semiconductor fab automation with Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) & SECS/GEM
MES knwolegeable and work with vendors to evaluate and enable communication between MES, Tool and AMR.
Responsible for proposing/developing/implementing/maintaining IOT automation systems collecting/cleaning/restructuring equipment data and storage in data management system
Maintenance of AMR and existing system performing periodic data integrity checks, create automated failure alerts, perform timely fixes when necessary and continuously improve the automation frameworks with new innovative features\
Create Web UI for admin/user required view & operation. Create automated periodic insights/analytics/reports/visualisation/alerts operations required for timely decision-making processes.
Job Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
Ability to work independently and team player to deliver result in fast paced and collaborative environment
Preferable with 1-3 experience in various semiconductor process module/knowledge, equipment engineering or digital transformation, specifically in SECS/GEM Automation.
Knowledge in communication systems and network protocols used between tool and factory automation (SECS/GEM knowledge & semiconductor/manufacturing environment)
Knowledge in variety of operating system (OS) used for automation (e.g SECS/GEM, php, js, sql). Other technical skills such as AMHS, vb, xml will be a plus/
Preferable to have experience in data mining, database engineering, software development
