This is the strategic role to develop and manage relationships with the top-tier Japanese and Korean corporate banking customers and to generate mutually beneficial business opportunities for both customers and the Bank.
- **_Job Responsibilities_**
- _Leads the formulation of actionable plans to enhance business performance, while overseeing administrative and management functions. _
- _Develops and executes targeted strategies to maximize the efficient use of group resources, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving continuous improvement across operations_
- _Responsible for overseeing the money lending business and driving deposit growth, while also facilitating domestic and foreign exchange transactions and managing related operational tasks._
- _Implements rigorous profit management practices to ensure financial stability and drive sustainable growth. Actively identifies and executes strategies to enhance profitability, optimize resource utilization, and align financial outcomes with business objectives_
- _Promote good relationship with customers or other business connections, and strive to establish foundations for achieving higher performance_
- _Fosters a positive and collaborative work environment by strengthening workplace relationships and actively promoting team morale _
- _Responsible for establishing and promoting a bank-wide cooperative business framework, while overseeing and continuously improving the office’s overall administrative functions to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with strategic goals._

**_ Job Requirements_**
- _Graduate degree from university_
- _At least 5-7 years of experience of relevant experience in corporate banking space_
- _Exhibits strategic and creative thinking to define clear goals, set priorities, and establish performance benchmarks. Applies analytical rigor to derive Pareto-optimal solutions that balance profitability with resource efficiency, while driving sustainable business growth and operational effectiveness_
- _Demonstrates the ability to manage change effectively while building and nurturing strong relationships across all levels of the organization to support collaboration and drive successful outcomes._
- _Strong numerical and financial skills with the ability to interpret financial information and able to design and use financial models_
- _Demonstrates strong planning and organizational capabilities, effective time management, and an analytical mindset to support efficient process implementation and operational excellence_
- _Fosters a compliance-first culture within the team, ensuring consistent adherence to established risk and regulatory frameworks in all aspects of operations_
- _Demonstrates deep expertise in the bank’s risk landscape and regulatory framework, with a strong appreciation of the inherent risks involved in achieving business objectives. Ensures informed decision-making and robust compliance across all operational activities_
- _Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese is a must as this individual will engage Japanese corporate clients, delivering presentations, preparing reports, and interpreting financial statements in Japanese_
