Team Introduction
ByteDance Procurement aims to provide high-quality purchasing solutions for ByteDance and establish a global platform for purchasing resources. Through providing professional management of procurement resources, selecting high-quality suppliers, and managing supplier performance, we aim to improve the efficiency, cost-effectiveness and compliance of ByteDance procurement behavior, fostering a healthy long-term business environment.

**In this role**:

- You will be responsible as a buyer for Human Resources (HR) category / Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) category in South East Asia countries, managing whole process from sourcing to payment. This includes developing sourcing strategy, data analysis, purchasing compliance management.
- For HR categories, 80% work is contractor sourcing, and remaining 20% is for Employee Benefit such as corporate insurance, Health screening etc. As a first step, this position is fully responsible for contractor sourcing, which is mainly follows the guidelines and daily operation to get to know ByteDance culture and system.
- For BPO ( Business Process Outsourcing), this cover projects in each SEA countries, such as Call Center or Application testing center setup etc. In general, BPO categories are big spend and unique in ByteDance. Buyer in this position gets the opportunity to improve project management skills, trouble shooting and risk control skills when involved in various types of BPO projects. This is an amazing opportunity for buyers to grow into an expert in sourcing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for developing sourcing and purchasing strategies in the assigned categories or assigned markets
- Responsible for purchasing execution, including purchasing orders, approval process management, and other system operations.
- Effective communication with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and collaboration between the regional team and HQ team.
- Responsible for the development, source, evaluation, and management of suppliers.
- Responsible for purchasing data, supplier qualification document collation, archiving, and other management work.
- Compliance with internal procurement rules to handle projects in the regional market
- Build corporative relationships with internal stakeholders
- Assist daily operations and handle other work assigned.
- Experienced in procurement in a global setting/regional field.
- Independent, proactivity, highly disciplined & self-motivated is a must in order to succeed in the role
- Have a good sense of urgency and ownership
- Fast learner with an ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to work across cross-function team, collaborative team player
