PMO Lead

**Job Purpose**:
As the PMO lead of igloocompany, you will have direct management over PMO members, in delivering projects or programs under the direction of the PMO office.

You will also responsible for driving igloocompany business objectives, and performing product development on various hardware & software projects. Your scope of work also includes program reviews in the domain of new product introduction and released product sustenance, being involved in continuous improvement/productivity programs and working closely with our global teams for engineering support.

**Responsibilities**:
**Project Management Governance**
- Establish the PMO role and operating model
- The PMO will ensure projects and programs are successful through proper planning, risk assessments, accurate forecasting, and scheduling, controlled within scope and boundaries of the program/project
- Project reviews: Initiates, identifies target projects for reviews, identifies, and escalates issues, facilitates review of project risk and drives mitigation actions
- Development of business objectives for improvements in project and program execution
- PMO is a primary coordination point with cross functional departments - ensure harmonious alignment of PMO strategy, objectives, and activities through team collaboration
- Meeting applicable corporate, governmental and regulatory policies as appropriate for this position
- Master delivery for resource capacity / demand planning across departments related to programs
- Variable workforce planning
- Vendor management as applicable for 3rd party support

**Project Management Team Leadership**
- Establish the PMO organization structure, hiring and managing staffing requirements
- Ensure PM/Program managers are maximizing revenue, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction using consistent methodologies, processes, procedures, tools, and metrics
- Must have strong collaboration and influencing skills
- Must have excellent negotiation and mentoring skills
- Must have a strong, well-rounded, and regimented project execution style by recognizing the value of standards within the organization
- Strong ability to lead, mentor and drive results through indirect leadership within a matrixed organization
- Ongoing workforce competency to support new company initiatives and emerging technology

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- PMP certification preferred
- Prior line management experience is desirable
- 10 to 15 years combined years’ experience in product development and program/project management
- A high level of business acumen is required with hands on experience in Project, Program and Portfolio Management.
- Has successfully led many to numerous product development project teams and has a clearly recognizable knowledge of detailed product development processes
- Ready to roll up the sleeves and get the job done with the project teams
- Must be able to work effectively and achieve results in a virtual environment without close supervision.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent conflict resolution and people interface skills by obtaining results with only influential control.
- Proven ability to lead multiple teams, partner with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and obtain resources for projects
