**Key Responsibilities**:

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their risk management needs and providing tailored facultative reinsurance solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their risk profiles and develop effective reinsurance strategies.
- ** Market Research and Analysis**:

- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the insurance and reinsurance landscape.
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of potential facultative reinsurance opportunities and identify suitable markets for risk placement.
- ** Risk Assessment**:

- Evaluate individual risks presented by clients and determine appropriate reinsurance coverage based on underwriting guidelines.
- Collaborate with underwriters and actuaries to assess risk exposures and develop pricing strategies.
- ** Negotiation and Placement**:

- Engage in negotiations with reinsurers to secure favorable terms and conditions for facultative reinsurance placements.
- Work closely with underwriting teams to prepare and present risk submissions to reinsurers.
- ** Contract Management**:

- Draft, review, and manage facultative reinsurance contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and client specifications.
- Monitor contract performance and address any issues that may arise during the policy period.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in reinsurance brokerage or underwriting with a focus on facultative reinsurance.
- Strong understanding of insurance and reinsurance principles, policies, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
