**About the Role**

Join T1's technology team and help build the digital infrastructure that makes trading fun. As a Back-End Developer, you'll design and maintain the server-side systems and APIs that power our trading platforms, connecting talented traders worldwide with institutional-grade trading infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

**Back-End Development**
- Design, build and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using Golang and Python
- Develop and optimize database schemas and queries
- Implement real-time data processing systems and WebSocket connections
- Work closely with front-end developers and product owners to deliver robust solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions
- Support the development of new features that enhance trader success and platform scalability
- Ensure system reliability, performance optimization, and security best practices

**Requirements**:
**Technical Skills**
- Strong proficiency in Golang and Python
- Expert knowledge of databases e.g. MySQL, Supabase, Firebase, PostgreSQL
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and WebSocket protocols
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Deep understanding of security best practices and performance optimization
- Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached)
- Experience with message queues and asynchronous processing

**Preferred Experience**
- 5+ years of back-end software development experience
- Proven experience with real-time data handling and high-throughput systems
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of payment gateway integrations and secure financial transactions
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
