**We are looking for an experienced Back-end developer to join our team.**

**Visioneer is a revolutionary new way to get things done. It allows a well resourced manager anywhere to seamlessly articulate your vision, get feedback from experts on risks and solutions, estimate costs and timelines, and can even automatically hire the right team to execute your vision.**

**As a Back-end Developer, you will**:
** Take complex business or customer needs and assist in digesting them into relatively independent software components (classes, functions, etc) that can address those needs.**

** Implement the backend for the project management system or any other inventions being grown by the company. This backend will store the system data, make complex calculations on said data, and make a secure and fast API accessible to the frontend.**

** Other duties as assigned.**

**Your Profile**:
**Must have**:
** BS Degree in Computer Science**

** 3-10 years of working as a professional programmer**

** An expert problem solver who makes well-reasoned decisions**

** The ability to create beautiful, well-documented, and easy to read and understand code.**

** A willingness to learn Julialang.**

** Fluent English**

**Emotional Intelligence**

**Preferred**:
** Masters degree in Computer Science**Proficiency in Python, Object Relational Mapping, and databases.**

** Strong academic performance (great student)**

** 5 years of experience programming for a business with 5-100 employees.**

**Our offer**:
** $8 USD-$16 USD per hour total compensation**

** 50% is in cash**

** 50% in equity in the company -**This means you become an owner of the company and if the company makes profit, you get part of it.**

**For example, if there are 5 people working on the project, everyone puts in the same number of hours and is paid equally, when the company makes its first $1M in profit and distributes it to the owners, you would get $160,000 (1/5th of 80% of the total). As the company continues to make profit, you continue to get paid, even if you are no longer associated with the company (assuming your equity is fully vested). That means a decade from now you could still be getting checks in the mail as you reap the benefits of your hard work.**
