Job Description & Requirements
- Being part of the ministry team, to provide pastoral and executive support of Wesley Methodist Church’s (WMC’s) Missions’ vision, programs and activities, working in consultation with the Pastor-in-Charge, the Missions Pastor and the Missions Committee, and giving focus to world missions and evangelization, the adoption of people group, projects, region/areas, and other missions-related concerns.

**Responsibilities**
- Caring: To co-labor with the Care Committee to support and care for all missionaries, missioners & theological students under the Missions Policy, including but not limited to matters relating to financial support
- Increasing Awareness: To provide pertinent information and education regarding missions at WMC with a view to encouraging participation, and to collaborate with relevant ministries in this regard.
- Training Coordination: To coordinate relevant training, equipping and exposure to persons who are being prepared for missions under the Missions Policy.
- Networking & Strategy: To build up relationship and networks with Mission agencies/partners in Singapore and beyond, with a view to exploring and strategizing new ways of doing missions/new mission models under the evolving geopolitical landscape, as well as being involved in setting up the necessary framework within WMC, including but not limited to reviewing the Missions Policy.
- Overseas Missions Work: Working with the Missions staff team, to support the Field Development and Training Committee in relation to Mission Trips and the overseas work under WMC’s purview.
- Conceptualizing: To present preliminary or concept papers relating to the ministry as maybe required by the Missions Committee from time to time.
- Building Prayer Support for all stakeholders.
- Supervisory of staff and volunteers in relation to ministry events.
- Participate and collaborate in WMC’s staff meetings, trainings, and events.

**Requirements**:

- Alignment with the doctrinal articles of religion and the general rules of the Methodist Church (as contained in the Book of Discipline of the Methodist Church in Singapore) and its Social Principles.
- A team player with a positive attitude who can adapt and thrive in a dynamic organizational environment, whilst striving for continuous improvement through evaluation and feedback.
- Meticulous and conscientious in nature, with the ability to work with confidential information and maintain a high standard of honesty and integrity.
- Ability and willingness to work non-traditional schedules which includes evenings, public holidays and weekends.
- Keen passion for growing in theological knowledge, and in understanding of Missions work to support the Missions Ministry.
- Able to show empathy and be willing to listen to all stakeholders.

**Skills and Experience**
- Have relevant theological studies, qualifications and/or experience in similar capacities.
- Excellent communication, service, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to creatively plan and execute programs and events with strong time management & relational skills.Tags
