Our client is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance Lead to join their team. As the Governance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the governance function, providing essential support to the Board of Directors and promoting good governance practices across the organisation.

You will also be dealing with Auditors' requests, and assisting in audit activities to ensure compliance with corporate policy, guidelines and practices. You will also be required to ensure due diligence are conducated, and providing oversigh and reporting any non compliance issues arise from the due diligence exercise.

**Requirements**:

- Degree with min 5 years of experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of corporate governance principles or coming from audit background
- Min 5 years in compliance, internal control, risk management either from big 4 or large corporate
- Good understanding of regulatory rquirements
- Prior experience in banking / financial industry is a plus'
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Stakeholder management
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and train staff in corporate governance principles and procedures
