**About the Team**

The infrastructure team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyper-scale datacenters, managing the life cycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions, and developing various infrastructure services and making sure they are scalable and are reliable.

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our growing Global Bytedance Infrastructure Engineering team and manage the Bytedance CDN/DSA product lifecycle by gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product roadmap, and working closely with engineering to deliver the product. You will collaborate with different functional groups including Engineering, Strategy, Supply Chain, and Operations.

You will succeed by supporting the company’s overall strategy and goals of growing Bytedance Infrastructure and developing internal infrastructure products and services. Your role as a Product Manager-CDN makes that a reality by collaborating closely with the engineering teams to build a cloud-native CDN/DSA platform that can be deployed across multiple Bytedance-owned edge sites and public clouds.

**Responsibilities**
- Work well with internal teams including developers, SRE, and operations ensuring requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
- Help in producing meaningful technical solutions that add value for our customers by working across CDN/DSA products.
- Gathering needs, transforming them into requirements and new features.
- Take part in the CDN/DSA roadmap and the prioritization of features.
- Understand, research, and follow CDN technology trends in the industry.
- Follow competitors and conduct capability analysis regularly.
- Metering of metrics for Billing, Usage, Adoption.
- Collaborate with other product managers and internal engineering teams to understand the use cases, technical requirements, and customer requirements to deliver.
- Capable of breaking down complex problems to make quick and thoughtful decisions. You'll have to anticipate challenges, make tradeoffs, and build consensus.
- Manage the entire product line life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities.
- Support product positioning and customer demand, and guide product development from conception to launch.
- Evaluate product functionalities and performance and propose enhancements to products based on market feedback.
- Research and analyse potential partner relationships for the product and generate ideas to grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Drive market research studies to explore new technology and oversee development of business proposals for new opportunities.

**Qualifications**
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in any of these faculties: Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, Science (Computer Studies)
- 5+ years of core product management experience, with a track record of shipping software products.
- Familiarity with CDN, Multi-Cloud, Edge Computing market.
- 5+ years of CDN work experience.
- Experience managing teams developing and managing products in an agile development environment.
- Experience partnering with engineers and cross functional teams such as finance, supply chain, and operations.
- Have a good understanding of Cloud Native Technologies, DDOS, DNS, Firewalls, Cyber Security, Reverse Proxy, and Load Balancers.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- MBA
- Experience working in kubernetes space
- Experience working in CDN space
