Senior Vice President

As a Senior Vice President, responsible for providing corporate support to Mitsubishi Power Asia Pacific (MPW-AP) and Mitsubishi Power (MPW) Group, oversees the organization’s Corporate functions operations that comprising of Regional Internal Audit & Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, IT, Corporate Affairs, Corporate Strategy and Finance & Accounting departments of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Asia Pacific (MHI-AP).

As a key member of the Executive Management Team, the Senior Vice President (SVP) reports directly to Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) in maintaining control of diverse corporate units and business operations that include establishing policies that promote efficiency of business, company culture and vision through its operations and secures the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.

The SVP also contribute to MPW group for the growth of the business in APAC by accepting special directive from the CAO.

**Job responsibility
Strategic Planning & Development
- Convert strategic objectives into actionable plans for performance and growth, helping to implement and achieve company-wide goals. (Remove tax incentive)
- Establish new MPW branches’ operating systems

Corporate Function Management & Enhancement
- Oversee daily operations of the organization and corporate departments that include Regional Internal Audit & Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, IT, Corporate Affairs, Corporate Strategy and Finance & Accounting departments
- Oversee operational policies & procedures
- Oversee planning, maintenance and efficiency

Enhance MPW-AP and its group companies’ corporate functions as Regional Headquarters’ Corporate Head
- Develop and implement strategies to drive operational process improvements and system developments
- Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
- Manage and lead corporate departments to ensure continual improvement in the capability, knowledge and performance of the personnel

Planning
- Formulating company’s business plan and supporting tactical initiatives
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plan
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Manage the capital request and budgeting processes

Others
- Assume other business and senior-level related responsibilities, which may be assigned.

**Job requirement
- MSc/MBA or BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field
- Experiences for manufacturing companies in heavy industries for large-scale equipment
- A minimum of 20 years' experience in EPC business of Thermal Power Plant/Environment in GTCC, SP and AQCS equipment suppliers
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing a company or head of office in APAC region
- Excellent Japanese Language skills (JLPT N1 or equivalent level) in both business writings & speaking to coordinate & communicate precise information with Japanese stakeholders in the APAC region / counterparts in Japan HQ
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
- Strategic and decision making skills with strong business acumen
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- Executive Leadership experience in APAC region
- Outgoing and positive personality
- Ability to build relationship quickly and effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
