**About**:
The role is seeking a seasoned Vice President (VP) of Business Development to lead and oversee the business development efforts within the APAC region. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for driving sales, expanding merchant partnerships, and fostering revenue growth in the APAC market. Additionally, the VP will provide guidance and oversight to all Assistant Vice Presidents (AVPs) within the business development department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies for APAC, aligning them with the company's overall growth objectives
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential partnerships to expand in the APACn market
- Lead the effort to achieve and exceed sales targets, driving merchant onboarding and revenue growth in APAC
- Collaborate with AVPs to optimize the sales process, enhance customer acquisition, and increase the conversion rate
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key merchants, enterprise businesses, and other strategic partners in APAC
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and promptly address any customer complaints or concerns
- Regularly review business development performance metrics for APAC and provide insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management, detailing the progress and achievements of the business development team
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align strategies and achieve overall company objectives
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry changes, and competitor activities in the APACn market
- Attend relevant events, conferences, and networking opportunities to represent and gather market intelligence.

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a Sales, Business Development, or related field
- 18+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related leadershiprole, with a focus on the APACn market
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively leading and motivatingteams
- Excellent people management and mentorship skills
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets
- In-depth knowledge of the APACn market, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Exceptional relationship management and networking skills with the ability to buildand maintain strong partnerships
- Strong analytical skills to assess performance metrics, identify opportunities, andmake data-driven decisions
- Strategic mindset with the ability to envision and execute long-term business goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present complex ideas and information to both internal and external stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions
