**REGIONAL PRODUCT MANAGER, CHEMICALS (PHARMA) APAC**:
Our team in **Singapore** currently has an opening for a **Regional Product Manager, Chemicals (Pharma) APAC**

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the Biopharma APAC team, you will grow and manage the chemicals primarily solvent (GMP/non-GMP) product portfolio in Pharma/Biopharma/Research & Diagnostic markets in Asia Pacific region to achieve the organisational goal sustainabily.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Grow and oversees a portfolio of products to ensure all risks in the portfolio are evaluated and considered. Implement timely measures to ameliorate controllable risks to avoid catastrophic failure of the portfolio that will have a detrimental impact to the organisational goal
- Manage new product introductions and steer product compliance
- Manage product marketing
- Develop strategy to continuously improve the performance of the portfolios to achieve business objectives
- Cultivate and engage strategic suppliers to become their preferred collaborators, to secure competitive pricing and supply reliability
- Derive pricing guidelines or mechanism of the key products for the region to ensure maximizing profit and minimizing losses.
- Perform regular in-depth market research of related key factors; e.g., feedstock market pricing, movements, supply situation and report market intelligence
- Cultivate and maintain strong authentic relationships with strategic suppliers
- Support commercial heads in the countries and the clusters in their active pipeline of new business opportunities for the
- Products Portfolio and conduct regular business reviews to monitor progress
- Work closely with commercial units to support their sales and marketing effort
- When needed, assist commercial to develop customer contracts quotation and proposals and attend to customer queries and provide value added solutions/initiatives to differentiate ourselves from the competitors
- Take up any additional responsibilities assigned

**YOUR PROFILE**:
**Job Requirement/Specification**:
Education: Bachelor Degree in related field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering)
Experience: Minimum 10 years in product management, sales & marketing or other relevant work in APAC or in regions.

**Others**:

- Good communication skill and work effectively at executive, midlevel management and operating levels and customer organizations
- Strong analytical skills with an understanding of profit and loss statements
- Strong interpersonal skills able to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
- Able to travel as required
- Proficiency in English is essential, fluent in Mandarin and any SEA language is an added advantage
- Strong suppliers’ management and business acumen
- Goal and results oriented
- Agile, integrity and reliable
