Our client is an international fintech company specializing in digital payments, cross-border remittances, and embedded financial services. They are now seeking a dynamic and well-connected **Payment Partnership Director**to lead strategic alliances and expand their payment ecosystem. The Payment Partnership Director will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing key payment partnerships with banks, card networks, e-wallets, payment service providers (PSPs), and acquiring institutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute partnership strategies to build a robust payment ecosystem across local and international markets
- Source, evaluate, and onboard strategic partners including card schemes (Visa, Mastercard), payment gateways, acquirers, issuers, wallets, and banks
- Lead negotiations for partnership agreements, commercial terms, and technical integrations
- Collaborate with product, legal, compliance, and technology teams to ensure successful partner onboarding and performance
- Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and regulatory developments in the global payments landscape
- Cultivate long-term relationships with partners to drive mutual growth and strategic alignment
- Track KPIs, optimize partnership performance, and regularly report to senior leadership on progress and ROIRepresent the company at industry events and networking opportunities

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or commercial roles within fintech or payments
- Proven track record of building and managing payment partnerships regionally or globally
- Strong network within financial institutions, card networks, PSPs, and regulators is highly advantageous
- Deep understanding of payment processing, cross-border payments, acquiring, issuing, and settlement flows
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and across global time zonesExcellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
