**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist with sales and marketing functions.
- Build new leads and grow opportunities into long term business relationship.
- Participate in events, networking sessions and roadshows for brand awareness.
- Active support in social media outreach of SMU and SMU Academy activities.
- Ability to handle difficult customers and escalate them if necessary to senior management.
- Manage and minimise class cancellation, maintain a minimum sign up of 10 participants for each course.
- Able to identify marketing channels for programmes, strategic partnerships, and events.
- Understand competitors’ offerings for the same and new programmes and be able to analyse and define market demand.
- Support in creation of GeBIZ quotations.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Positive mindset and team player.
- Good writing skills and meticulous with proofreading content.
- Excellent time management and organisation
- Able to work in fast-paced and self-directed environment.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Highly proficient level computer skills including Ms Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent telephone sales personality skills.
- Good understanding of marketing via various digital platforms.
- Possess good level of written, communication and interpersonal skills.
