The team member is responsible for ensuring that all company owned camera, audio, lighting, rigging and grip equipment is in tip-top working condition at all times.

Prior experience working for a production company, broadcaster or educational establishment running an equipment ‘cage’ is a distinct advantage.

Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Routine daily cleaning, maintenance and repair of camera and audio systems.

2. Preparation of equipment for shoot and receiving / checking equipment after shoot.

3. Liaison with equipment servicing and repair centres.

4. Maintaining good relationships with Singapore equipment rental houses, including keeping up to date records of equipment rental rates.

5. Maintaining current research and technical information on commonly used camera systems.

6. Providing advice and recommendations to Producers regarding most suitable camera systems for specialized projects.

7. On-set / location camera assisting and set-up of data-wrangling and video village systems.

8. Lighting, shooting and sound recording of simple interviews.

9. Purchase of new cameras and sale of decommissioned cameras.
