**Responsibilities**:
**THE ROLE**:
The RMA technician is responsible for processing, verifying, and scheduling testing as required for incoming RMAs from Customer. This position will also support the Failure Analyst within the team when required. Asides of testing, this role would also involve handling and maintenance of overall tools and test equipment at their workstation and within the department. This position has direct responsibility as part of the team to drive customer satisfaction in terms of quality, communication, and time to complete.

**THE PERSON**:

- Ability to adapt to fast paced environment with multitasking abilities.
- Ability to communicate issues and root cause information to the team, be detail‑orientated and well‑organized, and have a very strong commitment.
- Works independently and can interact with cross functional teams well.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform Customer Returns (RMA) testing, recording and provide disposition.
- Perform inspection/testing of incoming RMA returns on VM/SCT/bench and ATE/SLT as needed
- Follows all applicable work instructions, Best Known Method (BKM) to perform repair and during RMA processes.
- Provide basic and higher technical level of debug via root cause analysis in resolving test related issues. Generate SOP in documenting learnings/improvement acquired.
- Discuss problems (technical and process) encountered while testing/troubleshooting with co-technicians and Failure Analyst Engineer and able to recommend solutions to improve work efficiency.
- Execute engineering evaluation of equipment’s periodic maintenance of bench and various equipment as needed.
- Perform cycle counts of RMA units and track all returns, reasons for returns and shipment to customer.
- Perform data check & report compilation_._
- Other adhoc duties as assigned by supervisor
- Must be willing to support shift working patterns and/or overtime as requested by supervisor

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Basic knowledge on Electronics and Semiconductors
- Experience in related Semiconductor industries with 2 - 4 years of proven experience
- Preferable with experience handling SLT & ATE system

**ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS**:

- NTC/ ITC/ Diploma in Engineering
