You will be an integral member of the Actuarial General Insurance Team who will work in collaboration with other key team members and Business Department on key functions pertaining to General Reinsurance and Commercial Lines business.
The primary job responsibilities include:
- Responsible for treaty and facultative accounting and reconciliation
- Create automation solutions for accounting, regulatory and management reporting on reinsurance
- Support manager in the optimization of company’s reinsurance programme and ensure that risks undertaken by the company are adequately covered
- Pricing and analysis support to Commercial Lines department to enable business growth via reinsurance and provide data-driven business insights to improve profitability
- Support manager in championing new and emerging knowledge and capability to the actuarial team by tapping on reinsurance broker expertise
**Qualifications - External**
- Good progress in actuarial qualifications with either US, UK, or Australia Actuarial Institutes
- At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in General Insurance industry, with good knowledge of reinsurance
- Meticulous and strong analytical skills
- Strong team player who is adaptable, open to a dynamic working environment and willing to explore new ways of working
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of reinsurance accounting will be an advantage
