Our current part-time finance and admin officer is taking the leap and building her own small business, and so to support our continued expansion we’re looking for someone full-time to take her place, ideally from sometime in the second half of September so she can do an effective handover.

Experience in bookkeeping/accounting to Income Statement/Balance Sheet level and a good understanding of Excel is essential. Being organised, methodical and detail-oriented is very important, as we’ll be relying on you to keep everything in its right place and make sure bills get paid on time. Being discreet will of course be vital too, and you’ll be handing sensitive data.

We have a really pleasant office environment near City Hall/Clarke Quay MRT stations.

Here’s a brief overview of what you’d be expected to do:

- Record financial transactions and maintain Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Bank Reconciliation in Odoo accounting system (training will be provided)
- Manage Singapore payroll and leave management
- Ensure insurance policies are kept up-to-date and undertake evaluation on requirements and value for money as and when required
- Develop and maintain internal accounting, HR and admin policies and flowchart internal processes
- Support CEO in ensuring best practices for internal financial management
- Provide general administrative support as required
