- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
- Salary Package**:Up to $3,200 + Transportation Allowance + AWS + VB (Up to 4 months)**:

**Key Responsibilities**
- Report directly to the section manager and HOD
- Shall ensure that all supervisor(s) and technician(s) complete their testing and allocated work in a timely manner
- Shall conduct all laboratory tests, measurement and analysis when necessary and perform checks to ensure method accuracy for the measurement and analysis
- Shall ensure that GR&R is performed for the instruments and records are maintained
- Shall perform troubleshooting of instruments and facilities when there is any breakdown and ensure all maintenance and calibration is performed as scheduled and ensure reports are written
- Shall perform validation and commissioning of new instruments and methods and maintain records of validation and commissioning
- Shall assist in technical evaluations in accordance with direction given after discussion
- Shall participate in customer complaints investigation (for analysis related complaints)
- Shall troubleshoot quality issues (within department - both sections)
- Shall maintain and update the inventory record of all instruments/facilities parts (liaise with vendor for quotation) and ensure proper records and inventory level are maintained
- Shall monitor (and prepare reports) on QC instruments/facilities and EHS performance through statistical reports and initiate continuous improvement projects (including operation-related)
- Shall participate in audits (internal and external)
- Shall assist the senior engineer and QC section manager in the design of laboratory facilities / laboratory expansion
- Shall ensure area housekeeping is done at all work areas
- Shall promote and participate in QEHS activities and ensure that all procedures are strictly adhered to by the supervisors and technicians in all aspects of the activities
- Shall understand Risk Management and ensure that the risks identified and the control measures are communicated to the supervisors and technicians
- Shall actively participate in all quality / environmental, health and safety programs conducted by the company
- Performs any other tasks as instructed by the senior engineer, QC section manager and HOD

- At least a Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or any other science discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Good working knowledge of quality control standards and familiarity with analytical instruments like ICP-MS, AAS, IC, TOC, etc
- Strong understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
