Technical Product Manager

What you’ll do:

- Business Storytelling & Research: Develop compelling narratives, create executive presentations and conduct in-depth market research to define the product’s value proposition and market positioning.
- Business/Functional Architecture Design: Design and build business/functional architecture with clear value propositions for each component. Understand the dependencies between components and what that means to prioritizing the backlog.
- Business Success Metrics: Build OKRs for each value stream and ensure the product backlog is linked to one or more OKR. Be able to prioritize the backlog to ensure the biggest impact is reached in the shortest amount of time.
- User Journey Design: Collaborate with the team and end users to understand objectives and align journey designs with organizational goals. Lead the design and development of detailed journey maps, capturing every touchpoint, interaction, and emotion experienced by clients and employees.
- Operating Models: Drive changes in the way the overall program operates to ensure maximum speed to delivery and impact.
- Process Re-engineering: Ability to redesign large numbers of business processes to achieve dramatic improvements in productivity, cycle times, quality, and employee and customer satisfaction.
- Product Discovery: Establish a structured framework for conducting needs assessments, identifying pain points and collecting feedback from clients and stakeholders.
- Business Use Cases: Define and document business use cases, ensuring alignment with client needs and product capabilities.
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the product strategy and create a comprehensive, well-prioritised product roadmap.
- Vendor Evaluation: Evaluate vendor proposals, ensuring a deep understanding of technical details and how they align with business objectives. Provide a clear framework in the evaluation, scoring and selection process through compelling business writing.
- Technical Requirements: Generate comprehensive technical requirements to guide the development of the platform’s design and implementation. Facilitate technical discussions and provide essential guidance to bridge business needs with technical solutions.
- Product Development: Translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Commercial Model Development: Define the commercial model for the platform, considering pricing, monetisation and revenue strategies.
- Cross-Functional Program Management: Lead and coordinate a program that involves various stakeholders, from securing budget to defining RACI and resource required.
- Leadership Engagement: Engage with sponsors and stakeholders to help shape their vision and provide guidance in aligning business goals with the product.

What you’ll bring
- 10 years of proven experience in program management, product management, or similar roles within the financial services industry.
- Technical acumen with the ability to understand complex technical concepts, API specifications and nuances that come with a SaaS platform, and to engage in technical discussions.
- Exceptional business writing, storytelling and research skills.
- Strong product management skills with the ability to drive agile projects forward in an ambiguous environment.
- Experience in needs assessment, user research and market analysis.
- Proficiency in evaluating vendor proposals and conducting vendor assessment.
- Experience in corporate banking, preferably in corporate credit.

Pay: $14,000.00 - $23,000.00 per month
