As the key regional contact for our laboratory services in ASPAC. A key part of your role will be to collaborate closely with our third-party labs and customers throughout the region. Your role involves working with 3rd party labs and customers to deliver training on our in-house ELISA methods, as well as overseeing and approving all analysis results before their release.
Being the sole Lab Scientist in the Region, you'll embark on travels covering up to 40% of your time across ASPAC delivering and supporting with key lab services for our customers.
Other responsibilities include:
- Set up and monitoring of 3rd party laboratory controls and method harmonisation.
- Review, approval or escalation of results through our LIMS system
- Working with UK and USA labs to identify ways to constantly improve methods and introduce new assays.
- Support Business Managers, Technical teams, Distributors and Customers with any lab service queries.
- Work closely with Business Managers and Marketing teams to better promote the range of services.
- Prepare monthly reports providing detailed analysis of the impact of lab services, results or key highlights with recommendations where appropriate.
- Method development and troubleshooting including improvement and updating processes and procedures communicating changes to all customer and 3rd party laboratories.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about Science but has a flair for business and commercial. This role offers a unique blend of both with scope for growth and development across the regions and future investments in Lab Services which could lead to bigger roles in the future.
To be successful in this role some of the things we are looking for:
- Fluent in English both verbal and written.
- Previous Experience working in an analytical or technical environment with relevant laboratory equipment experience.
- Experience of running ELISA Assay would be beneficial or similar experience following an analytical method.
**Location**
For this role you will need to have full rights to work in Singapore at this time unfortunately we do not have the ability to offer sponsorship. You will be required to travel up to 40% of your week across the ASPAC region as well as have the ability to travel on occasion to the UK and USA.
