Senior Operational Technology Engineer is responsible for the support and implementation of existing and new manufacturing technology solutions supporting the companies journey towards industry 4.0. The role will support the technology selection process within the Operational Technology function, Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) technology stack, digital architecture and supporting processes.
- Key point of contact for connected machines, equipment and services (software) related to manufacturing
- Lead and participate in R&D activities and projects related to IIoT solutions and system integrations
- Lead and participate in the design and architecture of Manufacturing IIoT solutions and infrastructure
- Lead projects and work packages related to installation and/or development for integration of new and legacy machines and equipment.
- Work with multi-level Engineering, Manufacturing and Information Technology functional representatives to deliver quality related solutions, remove waste, digitize manufacturing systems & processes
- Create proposals and lead projects in accordance with quantifiable deliverables, to support Manufacturing Operations modernization
- Support all efforts related to Safety as applicable.

**Job description**

Main Accountabilities:

- Collaborate with Manufacturing and IT teams to execute global enterprise and/or local site’s Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) program implementation, evaluate business requirements and recommend system design and configurations to maximize functionality of various systems to achieve operational excellence.
- Support operational excellence improvement initiatives, reducing waste to support site Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics, engage and collaborate with manufacturing functions of Production, Product and Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Quality & Warehouse to proactively understand Operations’ challenges and opportunities
- Support business in capacity of MOM superuser. Support system testing, implementation, and troubleshooting.

**You are meant for this job if**
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Industrial or Manufacturing/Production Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experienced in successfully deploying technical software system solutions in manufacturing environments.
- Advanced knowledge in MOM, SAP [or, other ERP system], MES systems desired, possess learning agility for such systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant visualization/analytics/ statistical tools.
- Possess initiative & drive to function independently when required.
- Strong analytical skills, dynamic thinking & problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and written/verbal communications skills, able to influence, build trust with working teams.
- Strong project management / organizational skills along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business need.

Desired Qualifications:

- Experienced in manufacturing & continuous improvement principles, e.g., LEAN, Kaizen, 6sigma desirable.
- Knowledgeable in advanced data analytics, manufacturing automation, advanced manufacturing methods.
- Experienced in Cybersecurity principles, firewall and router configuration.
- Experienced in utilizing Industrial IT systems, protocols and industrial networking.
- Experienced in industrial automation and manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly, test, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge in relevant industry standards for Industry 4.0, Digital Factories, MOM
- Experienced in industrial robotic, plc, or other automation will be a plus
- Experienced in driving organizational change and system/process adoption.
- Experienced in implementing tools, systems and processes at multiple sites. Implementation experience at multiple global sites is preferred.
- Leadership and Cultural awareness skills will be a plus.
