Research areas at SBS include infectious diseases, immunology, neurodegenerative diseases and telomere biology and genome function. A Research Fellow position is immediately available in the laboratory of Associate Professor Gao Yonggui. With the support of research grant, this applicant will be working on protein translation and quality control involving dysfunctional protein degradation to avoid protein aggregation and disease.

**Job Description**:
- Protein expression and preparation for protein and complex- Biochemical and Biophysical characterization, and microbiological assay

Job Requirements- PhD in structural biology / biochemistry / protein chemistry- Experience in structural biology, such as Cryo-EM or crystallography, would be preferred.-
- Good motivation and teamwork- Interest in research work
